2012 Riparian Project

March 10, 2012

The IRWP 2012 Annual Riparian Project will be on Saturday, March 10 from 9am - noon.  You are invited to volunteer at one of several locations in Fayetteville, Gentry, Prairie Grove, Rogers, Siloam Springs, Springdale, and Tahlequah.  Activities include planting Loblolly Pine, Cherrybark Oak, Northern Red Oak, Sawtooth Oak, White Oak, Bald Cypress, and Green Ash seedlings as well as cleaning up trash and debris.  Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Spring 2012 Rain Garden Academy

April 5, 2012

The Illinois River Watershed Partnership is having a Rain Garden Academy on April 5 as part of their Rain Garden Grant.  The Rain Garden Academy will meet at the Fayetteville Town Center Dogwood Room from 8:30am - 4:30pm and will include lunch and a Rain Garden Tour.  IRWP will accept first 50 who register.  Cost is $25 per person, $15 for students.
