Meteorologist Drew Michaels from 40/29 will broadcast live from the Botanical Garden Wednesday, September 26th during his 5 and 6 p.m. "Watershed Wednesdays" broadcast.


 



Botanical Garden of the Ozarks to Launch Ozark Native Garden

 

Specific activities for the opening of the Ozark Native Garden include:

  • Grand Prize drawing for the IRWP "Watershed Challenge" at 10:00 a.m., September 29th 
  • The IRWP and Cooperative Extension Service will demonstrate how to assemble a rain barrel in three separate workshop sessions held at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Participants can register to win a free rain barrel!
  • The Garden's Operations Director, Scott Starr, will be on hand to answer questions about gardening with native plants.

Grand Prize Drawing for the IRWP Watershed Challenge will be at 10:00 a.m., September 29th at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks in Fayetteville during the opening of it's newest feature, the Ozark Native Garden. One lucky challenge taker will win... a John Deere Riding Mower/Mulcher from Countryside John Deere in Tontitown. Even if you have won the weekly prize you could win the Grand Prize. Everyone is invited to come out and join us!
