The Fall 2011 Rain Garden Academy had 50 in attendance representing cities, schools, businesses, and homeowners all interested in learning how to install a rain garden.
Becky Roark, the Illinois River Watershed Partnership's Rain Garden Resource Specialist, presented, along with Jeff Huber, University of Arkansas Community Design Center, and Dr. Bob Morgan, Manager of Enviornmental Quality at Beaver Water District.
The Rain Garden Academy included a tour of local rain gardens at Springdale Public Works, Beaver Water District, and Horsebarn Trail in Rogers. Click here to download a plant list for gardens on the tour.
