Hello Campers!

The summer of 2013 was an exciting one for those of us in the Illinois River Watershed Partnership.  It was our first summer to enjoy the beautiful setting of our lake here in Cave Springs and we are so glad that you were able to join us for one of our camps.

Each week of camp was special to us, and whether you joined us for an Art and Nature Camp, or a Watershed Camp, we hope you had fun and learned some useful things about this amazing watershed that we live in.

We have just launched a new blog called "Upstream Matters" and thought you would be particularly interested in this post written by Lauren Ray, one of your camp leaders.  It's called "So Long, Summer"... a feeling that I'm sure you all can relate to as you leave summer behind and head back to school.  In her post, Lauren looks back on the fun events of the summer, and we encourage you to add your memories  - as well as your photos - of your experience at camp.

We hope you'll follow along with Lauren and the rest of the staff who will be posting regularly on our blog.  You can subscribe to receive new posts via email right from our homepage:

Have a great school year, and we hope to see you back at camp in 2014!
