Benton County Agricultural Awareness Day
Hosted by Benton County UAEX
10:00 am to 12:00 pm at NWACC Shewmaker Global Business Development Center.
Illinois River Watershed farmers are dedicated to feeding a growing population locally and globally. Learn more on March 21 about Benton County farmers and how they care for the soil, water, their animals, and the crops that provide us food, fuel, and more!

The Watershed Sanctuary trails and lake are open to the public every day from dawn until dusk!  
The Watershed Learning Center is open M - F from 9 am to 4 pm and Saturdays from 9 am - 2pm

EQIP Sign-Up Deadline
Farmers and landowners in portions of Benton and Washington Counties have until March 1 to submit applications to receive financial assistance through EQIP to implement conservation and restoration practices.

IRWP Artist in Residence Exhibition:
Julie Gowing Hayes

Introduction Julie Gowing Hayes as IRWP's Artist in Residence for 2017. An exhibition of her works are on display at IRWP's Learning Center Gallery. Please drop-by to take a look and please consider purchasing one of Julie's amazing works! 
Julie creates oil paintings of scences mostly found in nature in a representational and sometime impressionisted style. Her father's involvment in local conservation efforts and her mother's love of bird watching taught Julie a respoect for the land and the wildlife it supports.M
