The IRWP Green Infrastructure Academy will explain what green infrastructure means, and will go over different types of projects that fall under green infrastructure, such as pervious paving, green roofs, vegetated walls, and rain water harvesting, with a special emphasis on rain garden/bioswale design. To wrap up, we will tour the grounds and see completed examples of green infrastructure projects that were discussed earlier.

Our guest speaker will be Katie Teague, with the Washington County Cooperative Extension Service.
