IRWP and Fayetteville Parks and Recreation are teaming up again for an Earth Day creek clean-up. The event will be kicked off at 9am at the Marion Orton Recycling Center in Fayetteville. (Please park across the street behind the gas station/Hawg Wash Laundry.) Mayor Lioneld Jordan will kick off the event with an Earth Day Proclamation, followed by the fourth annual litter cleanup along the Razorback Regional Greenway. Following the Mayor's proclamation, volunteers will be issued supplies and given instructions. Bagels, T-shirts and other giveaways will also be available for volunteers.

After the event kickoff, our group will head to Academy Sports at 10am to park and pick up trash in Mud Creek and along the Mud Creek trail. We will go from the Mud Creek trail convergence with Scull Creek trail moving east to where the trail crosses College. We will clean up along the trail and in the creek, so dress in appropriate shoes/clothes that can get dirty and wet. (If you only want to come to the clean-up portion, be at Academy Sports at 10AM.)
