Thanks to volunteers from the Bentonville Public Library, NWA Master Naturalists, NWA Master Gardeners, and Bentonville Public Works, the rain garden installation at the Bentonville Public Library was a success!

18 regional artists attended the November Plein Air Workshop led by the IRWP's artist in residence, John P. Lasater IV.

Plein Air artist captures Cave Springs lake and home
Volunteers from Walmart and the Fayetteville School District participated in a float trip and cleanup along a 4-mile stretch of the Illinois River.

Ms. Elizabeth Smith's 5th grade class from Russell D. Jones Elementary in Rogers enjoyed a field trip to the Watershed Sanctuary last month.

Nearly 100 visitors participated in National Take A Hike Day at the Watershed Sanctuary in Cave Springs.  These folks found their way to the top of historical Bartlett Dam!

The IRWP is seeking volunteers to help plant native trees, shrubs, and grassess for the streambank re-vegetation project at the Fisher Ford Whitewater Recreation Area in early 2014.  Email for more information!
