Our Process

  • Site Assessment and Consultation

A watershed-based site assessment is a vital process that provides a comprehensive understanding of a specific area’s ecological and hydrological features. This assessment focuses on analyzing water movement, drainage patterns, soil types, and habitat conditions, as well as identifying additional features that contribute to land management.

  • Site Plans

Once we have thoroughly assessed the site during our consultation and gained a clear understanding of the landowner's goals, we craft a comprehensive site plan that outlines the steps necessary for achieving long-term management. This tailored approach not only addresses immediate concerns but also sets the foundation for sustainable practices that preserve the ecological integrity of the land while enhancing its value and usability for years to come.

  • Installation, Maintenance, ongoing Stewardship

Every site is unique, and each landowner has distinct goals. Whether you represent a municipality or a homeowners association, we collaborate with you to create a stewardship contract that aligns with your objectives. Then, we do the work!

If you are looking to train your crew on maintenance of the project, we can include that, as well.

To support the health of our entire watershed, we have to maintain dense, healthy vegetation in the headwaters.
