Clabber Creek Invasive Plant Removal

  • Intersection of Clabber Creek Trail & Rupple Road 36°05'59.4"N 94°12'46.2"W Fayetteville United States (map)

Check-in: Intersection of Clabber Creek Trail & Rupple Road. If not walking or biking, please park on neighboring streets.

Take part in restoring the understory along this scenic neighborhood trail. This riparian corridor is heavily impacted by bush honeysuckle and privet, and the City of Fayetteville goal is to remove these invasives over several workdays before replanting with native understory trees and shrubs.

While the primary focus will be on invasive removal, volunteers may also assist with litter cleanup along the creek banks and trail. Supplies and waders will be available. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and protective clothing. This will be the third trip out to this location and the difference is noticeable.
