Spring Creek Volunteer Day

Join us at Spring Creek along the Razorback Greenway in Springdale!

Help us restore this vital waterway by removing invasive plants and replanting with native species to improve habitat and water quality.

No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm! Gloves and tools will be provided. Wear sturdy shoes and be ready to get your hands dirty for a great cause! Activities will include:

  • Litter cleanup

  • Native planting

  • Invasive plant removal

Each Fall, Know the Flow’s Pick Up Where You Play leads a regional effort to remove litter from recreational areas along streams.

IRWP is happy to support this effort by hosting cleanups in the Illinois River Watershed. There are cleanups happening from September - October, check out the other cleanups happening here.

Attendees are welcome to bring their own equipment -loppers, clippers, gloves, shears- or to use our provided tools. There will be water available throughout the work session to keep everyone hydrated.
